The Unicorn And The Wasp

Episode Location: Earth,
Aliens/Enemies:
Giant wasps,
New Characters: Agatha Christie, Lady Clemency Eddison
Gadgets Used: Sonic Screwdriver, Psychic Paper
Episode Objective: Unknown

In 1926, Agatha Christie mysteriously disappeared, only to be found ten days later with no memory of what had happened. Was it a nervous breakdown? A cry for help? Or perhaps a giant alien wasp? The Doctor and Donna join forces with the world's most famous crime novelist to encounter a body in the library, poisoned cocktails and a Vespiform seeking revenge.

This episode contains the words "peach", "sting", "unicorn" and the sentence "The poor little child"

And here we go!
Lady Clemency Eddison is a woman with secrets... She is lady of the manor where guests have been invited, and the murders begin

And who should be some of those guests? Only the Doctor and Donna! But I don't think they actually know where they are when they arrive, since they seem quite surprised to meet Agatha.

And then I'm sure there is large amounts of comedy as our team try to integrate themselves into this little posh party. And we probably meet all these characters like the Reverand and whatnot, who are asking about Agatha's books.

ROGER
Miss Christie, I've a question. Why a Belgian detective?
AGATHA
The Belgian's make such lovely buns
REVEREND GOLIGHTLY
Where do you get your ideas from?
AGATHA
Murder is easy, vicar, when you've killed as many people as I have

And I'm sure they're having quite a jolly time until a body is found in the library... and then there are the giant wasps to contend with as well.

As of now, I have no idea what the wasps/Vespiform's have to do with anything, but I suspect that if I did, that would ruin the story!

Oh yeah... and this happens at some point in the episode....

But apparently its all okay! He's not making a move towards Donna - it's just his antidote to some poison he's swallowed. Afterwards Donna looks like she'd have preferred it if he died.

So where does the Anchovies remedy come into all this I wonder?

Oh, and as usual, there be a lot of running to do!
Here we see the Doctor, Donna and Agatha Christy all running into this room and stopping dead as the Doctor says to himself: 'There's nowhere to run!'

And here be another shot of the Doctor, putting on his lovely glasses and peering over something that we can't see...

But, I'm sure that whatever problems and big bad evilness that they encounter, it will all be solved (probably by Agatha who, in a Shakespeare Code moment, is told by the Doctor that she's the one who can fix it all)

And then the Doctor and Donna will fly away into the next amazing adventure!

But that'll have to wait until AFTER the Eurovision Song Contest.

Speculation
- The episode features a murder and a jewel thief
- Apparently the Doctor eats some anchovies as a remedy.

And also... I think that this might happen during this episode:
The Doctor making a horrible gasping noise while some white powdery substance (that doesn't seem to behave that much like powder) pours OUT of his mouth

pryrovile Fact File

First apperance: Series 4: The fires of pompeii
Planet of origin: Pryrovillia
Species: Rock Humanoids
Weapons: Fire Breath
Objective: To create a new race and rule Earth.

Pyroviles are humanoids with a rock-based form with a magma interior, and can be killed by sufficient quantities of water.They are from the planet Pyrovillia, but unfortunately for them there homplanet was destroyed. They were tall beings, reaching up to about 10 metres in hight. Pyroviles came in two varieties - a shorter, easily-destroyed "Foot Soldier", as quoted by the doctor, and more advanced, fully grown Pyroviles which could reach over twice the height.

Captain Jack: Pryrovile

The History Of Pryroviles:
At some point in their history, the Pyroviles developed advanced technology from rock, and could travel into space. When their homeworld was lost, a group of Pyroviles escaped in an escape pod, which crashed on Earth. The Pyroviles were obliterated in the explosion and eroded into dust particles in the core of Mount Vesuvius near the city of Pompeii.
However, they were not lost, as they were woken up by an earthquake in 62AD
- A Half formed pyrovile

When breathed in by Human prophets (Above) these particles would slowly transform the humans into Pyroviles themselves. The transformation would first result in petrification of limbs (stone), and psychic powers granted by the Pyrovile using the latent power of the Human brain.

By 79AD, full-grown Pyrovilles had created a base beneath Vesuvius and planned to convert the power of the volcanic eruption to change all Humans into Pyroviles. The Doctor stopped this and knowingly caused Mount Vesuvius to erupt and destroy the Pyroviles and the nearby town of Pompeii.

And That was the last seen of the pryrovilles.................For Now ! ! !

The Doctors Daugther

The Doctor's Daughter

Episode Location: Messaline
Aliens/Enemies: The Hath, General Cobb
New Characters: Martha, Klein, Jenny
Gadgets Used: Bomb,
Episode Objective: Unknown

On the planet Messaline the Hath - fish monsters that communicate through bubbles - and humans have been at war forever trying to find "the source of life". Time is measured on Messaline by counting the generations of the dead. Martha is kidnapped and the Doctor meets the most important woman of his life. But as General Cobb threatens genocide, the Time Lord faces an even greater battle – can he find peace with his own child?

So, from the ending of the Poison Sky, we see some strange Time Lordy stuff going on with the Doctor's hand, and the Doctor, Donna and Martha are whisked away to places unknown.

Okay, we know where they go: Messaline, but it sounded more dramatic not to say that.

And from the looks of it, they arrive, and are straight away thrust into copious amounts of trouble!

Or, maybe they just run into Klein and his weary band of soldiers (that include Jenny), who fighting against the Hath for some reason or other.

Strange mark on his hand...

But before anything can happen (or anything can be revealed) the Hath turn up and start shooting at things - generally people really.

They don't speak but "blow bubbles through a tube in their face", and appear to live in this dark, basement like surroundings known as the "Hathling" encampment

And as we can see, they take Martha away and Jenny blows them up... clever.

The Doctor: Why did you do that?
Jenny: They were trying to kill us!
The Doctor: But they've got my friend
Jenny: Collateral damage. At least you've still got her. He lost both of his men. I'd say you came out ahead.

So after that, Klein and Jenny take the Doctor and Donna back to their camp and explain all about what's going on - War and whatnot.

And then finally, I think its revealed that Jenny is indeed the Doctor's daughter. And she's the real thing, but not created in the normal way.

"The Doctor...manages to go from 'carefree bachelor' to 'dad' in a matter of nanoseconds, after he puts his hand in a machine that spits out grown-up offspring."

"Jenny is the product of singular progenation - meaning that the Doctor is both mother and father of his new dependent."

And apparently the Doctor is mostly shocked by Jenny's sudden appearance, and in facts spends most of the episode in denial about it.

But at least Donna's there to try and make it better!
Donna: I know that look. See it a lot round our way. Blokes with pushchairs and frowns. You've got Dad-Shock! Sudden, unexpected fatherhood. Takes a lot getting used to...

And sum things up for Jenny:
Donna: He saves planets, rescues civilisations, defeats terrible creatures - and runs a lot. Seriously, there's an outrageous amount of running involved.

So, the Hath have tottered off and kidnapped Martha, taking her away to their encampment where she gets to live up to her doctor role and fix one of their dislocated shoulders:

And also, I get the impression that maybe the Hath are nice? Well, anyway, at some point, Martha slips and rolls down a hill to land in some mud/quicksand type stuff at the bottom. A Hath clambers down after her and appears to be about to try and pull her out

While this is going on, the Doctor and Donna to try and save Martha, the planet, and do something with Jenny.

A cage! My, my, she does get around!

"Georgia Moffett is superb as Jenny, The Doctor's daughter. Like him, she has astonishing abilities. And she challenges him at every turn, making him think about things that he's never considered before. And as the story goes on, they continue to learn from each other."

The episode was designed to "change the Doctor" in a way that will have "a real impact on him" and that in terms of the series continuity the episode will have a "lasting impact". So I wonder what will happen to his dear daughter?

"She's my daughter."
"Drop your *******."
"Hello dad."
"Every child of the ******* is born with **** *********."
"All ******** is regulated. We're at war."
"Now then, I'm Doctor Martha Jones. Who the hell are you?"
"You're an ****, that's all. A **** L*** is so much more."

Set Reports

1st Report of Filming
Cast & crew were also seen filming when there were stunt doubles and a couple of aliens. They shot a couple of scenes on the tips in Cefn Cribbwr, but only Martha was there no Doctor or Donna.

So maybe a scene of when she's captured OR, while she is being held hostage.

2nd Report of Filming
Only a wee little one with the Doctor, Donna and Martha on a street. Considering they go to an alien planet, we can assume that this is either the beginning or the end of the episode.

Information and facts on gallifrey

Gallifrey

The Time Lords home planet, also known as the 'Shining World of the Seven Systems'
It has been located in the constellation of Kasterborous at galactic coordinates ten-zero-eleven-zero-zero by zero-two from galactic zero center, some 250 million light years away from Earth.

The Cult of Pythia

The most well known leader of Gallifrey was the Time Lord Rassilon, but before him, and before the era of the Time Lords, someone known as The Pythia ruled.

The Pythia ruled a Gallifrey which was government by mystery and superstition. She ruled as part of a matriarchy, and because she had powerful psychic powers that enabled her to see the future.

Near the end of the Cult of Pythia's reign, the last Pythia was unable to see into the future. In an attempt to see further she recruited Vael (a skilled Gallifreyan with psy-powers) to work with her and then spy on Rassilon.

But when her idea of her future failed to come, she sent her followers to Karn, and then cursed Gallifrey with sterility and threw herself into an abyss below her temple.

Gallifrey has been described as 'perfect to look at' though The Doctor appears to refrain from speaking about it, particularly in later episodes, after its destruction.

'The second sun would rise in the south, and the mountains would shine. The leaves on the trees were silver, when they caught the light, every morning it looked like a forest on fire. When the autumn came, a brilliant glow came though the branches...'

Within the Citadel of the Time Lords
The Citadel is located on the continent of Wild Endeavour in the mountains of Solace and Solitude. It is within here that the society of Gallifreyans and Time Lords live.

Gallifreyans is the term used to describe those born and living upon Gallifrey. They only become Time Lords after they have looked into the Untempered Skism and been educated in the Academy.

Other places mentioned within the Citadel are:
  • The Academy - Where Gallifreyans learn, and can become Time Lords.
  • The Matrix - A massive computer system that holds the combined knowledge of the Time Lords.
  • The Panopticon - The main room of the Capitol, the Eye of Harmony is kept underneath and provides the energy for time travel.
  • The Cruciform - Although unconfirmed as to what it is, The Master reported seeing it destroyed during the Time War
  • The Untempered Schism - A gap in the fabric of reality through which could be seen the whole of the vortex. Time Lord novices are initiated by looking into it.
Outside the Citadel
Outside lie the wastelands. This has been explored as where Time Lords, who have dropped out of Time Lord society, live in simpler tribal communities. The wasteland of Gallifrey includes:
  • The Death Zone - used as a sort of arena by the first Time Lords. Here they would pitt various species, kidnapped from their respective time zones, against each other for their own amusement.
  • The Tomb of Rassilon - Where the founder of Time Lord society is buried.
The Time Lords
"The oldest and most mighty race in the universe. Looking down on the galaxies below... sworn never to interfere, only to watch."

Time Lord society, and indeed possibly Time Lords themselves, were formed through the combined efforts of the Time Lord Founders.

There is a difference between the inhabitants of Gallifrey (the Gallifreyans) and the Time Lords. In order to become a Time Lord, you must be chosen at the age of eight to be enrolled into 'Time Lord Academy'. It is here that a novice will look into the Untempered Schism and see the whole of time and space, as well as taking regular subjects and examinations until graduation.

The Dark Times
This was during the early Time Lord history, when Rassilon lived and ruled.

During this time, the Time Lords would abuse their power and use items, such as the Time Scoop, to abduct other beings from throughout history. Once these beings has been taken, they were made to fight each other for the Time Lords amusement in The Death Zone.

Also during this time, the Time Lords participated in a war, a war so horrific that they forswore violence from that point on and adopted an official policy of neutrality and non-interference.
Only a select few Time Lords, including The Doctor, went against these new customs, and continued to travel through time and space.

The Deca

The Deca were a group of young rebellious Gallifreyans at the Academy.
The group included:

  • The Doctor
  • Azmael
  • Drax
  • Ushas (later the Rani)
  • Magnus (later the War Chief)
  • Koschei (later known as the Master)
  • Mortimus (later the Meddling Monk)
When the Doctor betrayed the group by leaving Gallifrey, the Deca ended. In time, each member of the group would choose a lifestyle as a renegade across space and time.

The Time War

Gallifrey, and the Time Lords way of life, came to an end because of the Time War. Here, they fought against the Daleks and it was believed that both sides were completely obliterated, with only The Doctor surviving.

However, since then, the Daleks have returned several times with a vengeance, and The Doctor has had to fight them off once again.

As well as this, it was discovered that another Time Lord, The Master, survived by hiding himself in the form of a human. Therefore, its possible to speculate that other Time Lords survived the Time War in a similar way.

The Time Lord Founders

There are known to be six founding Time Lords, though only three have ever been named.
These founders helped to establish Time Lord society and technology.

Rassilon

He is perhaps the single greatest figure in Time Lord history, certainly the most important, and is generally considered the First Time Lord.

The list of what Rassilon has done is extensive, but among these things he has:
  • Invented TARDISes
  • Mastered time travel
  • Battled and defeated the Great Vampires
  • Ended the "Dark Times" of Gallifrey's past
  • Created the foundations of Time Lord science

  • He may have created Time Lords themselves - the genetic link that lets Time Lords travel through time without ill effects, is known as the Rassilon Imprimatur.

  • He created the Eye of Harmony - a black hole that was captured and contained under the panoction. This harnessed black hole was said to power all of Time Lord civilization, including TARDISes

Many rumours also surround Rassilon's death, but the most persistent say he discovered a form of true immortality beyond regeneration. But he hid this secret with his remains in the Tomb of Rassilon

It was later discovered that Rassilon did indeed discover immortality, but realised it was too dangerous a secret to share so hid it in his tomb. The penance for anyone wishing to live for ever was to be turned into a statue.

Omega
Sometimes called the First Time Lord, though this title is more often given to Rassilon.

In the 'Dark Times' of Gallifrey, Omega created the Hand of Omega - a devise which could "customise stars" Working with Rassilon, Omega harnessed the energy from the stars, and used it to enabled the TARDISes and Time Lords to travel through time.

Both Omega and the Hand were believed lost, but both actually survived Omega was transported through a black hole to a universe of anti-matter, which he was able to shape through his mind.

He stayed there, trapped, for millennia, and still wearing the amour and helmet he designed to protect him from the corrosive effect of the anti-matter.

Twice, Omega has tried to have revenge on the Time Lords for abandoning him:
  • The world he was trapped in was unstable, so he tried to capture the Doctor to take his place. Both the 2nd and 3rd Doctor were brought there, but Omega finds that his body has been diminished, and he only exists in mental form.

  • Trying to escape his prison again, Omega merged with the 5th Doctor through the Arc of Infinity, located in Amsterdam, but the Doctor foils his plot.

The Other

He was known as one of the three members of the Truimvirate, who founded the Time Lord Society after the cult of pyhtia was ended.

But the birth and origin of The Other is still a mystery among the Time Lords...

As Rassilon's's rule moved closer to despotism and Gallifrey's borders were sealed, the Other attempted to escape the planet by hurling himself into the Looms to await eventual reconstitution.

Some sources imply that he was re-loomed some ten million years later to the House of Lungbarrow as the Time Lord who would become known as the Doctor...

While other people believe that the Other's biodata left in the Looms gave rise to a certain Time Lord characteristic, namely that of discontentment and a rebellious streak. This is widely known as the characteristic that the deacs generation of Time Lords displayed

Govermnent

Time Lord society was governed by the High Council, sometimes called the Supreme Council. It was generally content, owing to their policy of non-intervention, which may have been part of the reason why the Doctor, and certain other Time Lords, decided to leave Gallifrey.

The High Council of Gallifrey consisted of an Inner Council of the Lord or Lady President, the Lord or Lady Chancellor, the Cardinals, the Castellain and the Chancellory Guard.

The President
The President had near absolute authority, and used a link to the Matrix (a computer network containing the knowledge and experiences of all past generations of Time Lords) to set the Time Lord policies and remain alert to potential threats from lesser civilisations.

For much of his life, the Doctor himself has been either considered as a possible next President, or has been given the title and is the official President of Gallifrey. However, although he did occasionally use that title, the Doctor never remained on Gallifrey long enough to take up a permanent mantel. Often he left other Time Lords as acting Presidents while he was away since he did not want the responsibility.

Presidents of Gallifrey included:
Pandad
Borusa
Flavia
Romana
The Inquisiter

The Chancellor
The Chancellor was a high position within the Time Lord Government. They acted as the Presidents second, and also oversaw the Castellan, who were in charge of all security.

Chancellors of Gallifrey included:
Goth
Borusa
Thalia
Valyes
Theora
Flavia - Who then became Lady President.

The Cardinals
The Cardinals represented the colleges of Gallifrey. Out of the three colleges known, the Prydonians, the Arcalians, and the Patrexes, the Prydonians are the more prestigious.

Cardinals of Gallifrey included:
Zorac
Leandi
Irving Braxiatel

The Castellan
The Castellan were were responsible for overseeing the Chancellory Guard and therefore in charge of the security of Gallifrey. The various Commanders of the Chancellory Guard itself acted as the Castellan's subordinates.

The Castellan's of Gallifrey included:
Spandrell
Andred
Kelner
Wynter
Hedin

The Chancellory Guard
Security and law were enforced by the Chancellory Guard, who were under the command of the Castellan. So, they were basically Gallifrey's version of police.

Other offices that were affiliated with the council included the offices of the Gold Usher, the Surgeon General, and The Inquisitor.

The Time War

Time Lords vs Daleks... where Time itself is used as a weapon... The entirety of time and space on the verge of being destroyed, and only one man to stop it.
I think I'll leave this up to The Doctor...

What happened?
'My planet's gone. It's dead. It burned... It's just rocks and dust. Before its time... There was a war. A Time War. The Last Great Time War. My people fought a race called the Daleks, for the sake of all creation. And they lost. We lost. Everyone lost. They're all gone now. My family. My friends. Even that sky...'
~~~~~
The Doctor: Your race is dead! You all burned, all of you! Ten million ships on fire! The entire Dalek race wiped out in one second!
Dalek: You lie!
The Doctor: I watched it happen! I made it happen!
Dalek: You destroyed us?!
The Doctor: ... I had no choice.
Dalek: And what of the Time Lords?
The Doctor: Dead. They burned with you. The end of the Last Great Time War.
~~~~~
'I was the only one who could end it. And I tried, I did; I tried everything.'
~~~~~
Rose: The Dalek survived, maybe one of your people did too?
The Doctor: I'd know in here. Feels like there's no one.
~~~~~
The Master: The Time Lords only resurrected me because they knew I'd be the perfect warrior for a Time War. I was there when the Dalek Emperor took control of the Cruciform. I saw it. I ran. I ran so far... because I was so scared.
~~~~~
'I'm a Time Lord. I'm the last of the Time Lords. They're all gone. I'm the only survivor...You think it'll last forever... But it won't.'
The Aftermath
The war had consequences up and down history. Although the name of the Time Lords lived on in legend and myth, the universe was a changed place....
'...when the Time Lords kept their eye on everything, you could pop between realities and be back in time for tea. Then they died, and took it all with them. The walls of reality closed, the world was sealed, and everything became that bit less kind...'
Although The Doctor contemplates using the TARDIS to travel back to before the war and save his race, he knows that this will create a paradox by crossing his own timestream. He also is tempted by the by the power of the Skasis Paradigm which would give him the ability to reorder the universe... 'I could stop the war'... but, as he frequently comments: there was nothing he can do, and he can't change it now...
Those effected by the war
'The Time War raged, invisible to smaller species but devastating to higher forms..'
  • The Nestene Consciousness - it's planet was destoyed in the war.
  • The Gelth - their bodies had been destroyed by the war.
  • The Time Lords - Destroyed, erased from existence.
  • The Daleks - Exterminated.
  • The Doctor - left to live with the consequences of his actions and travel on, the last of his kind...
The Master Fact File
Home Planet: Gallifrey
Life Form: Gallifreyan/Time Lord
The Master has in many ways been shown to be a parallel of the Doctor. He has an untempered genius, a psychopathic outlook on human life and a fantastic ego. His choice of name, "Master of all things" also indicates a deep-seated narcissistic outlook. Basically... he's full of himself.
The Master and the Doctor are shown to have similar levels of intelligence, and were classmates on Gallifrey. Both the Doctor and the Master have been shown to be skilled hypnotists, although the Master's capacity to dominate — even by stare and voice alone — has been shown to be far more pronounced.
During the earlier times, the Master's various TARDISes have fully functioning chameleon circuits and have appeared as many things. After the carnage of the Time War, it is unclear whether any of the Master's TARDISes still exist, but can be assumed that they were all wiped out saved the Doctor's.
The Master's original weapon of choice is the "tissue compression eliminator", which shrinks its target to doll-like proportions, killing them in the process. The Master also has a laser screwdriver, which functions as a powerful laser weapon, capable of killing with a single shot, and carries the ability to age victims rapidly.
While it has been historically expressed that the Doctor's consistent weaknesses throughout all his incarnations are his compassion and curiosity, the Master's weaknesses have usually been exposed as his pride/vanity and his insanity — in particular his obsessiveness.
History within the show
In 'The Sound of Drums', a flashback shows the Master at the age of eight, when as part of a Time Lord initiation ceremony he is taken before a gap in space and time, from which one can see the entire Vortex. The Doctor states that looking into the time vortex causes some to be inspired, some to run away, and others to go mad; he suggests that the latter is what happened to the Master.
A would-be universal conqueror, the Master's stated goal is to control the universe, with a secondary objective of eliminating the Doctor.
When he first appeared, the Master was involved in almost every adventure of the Doctor's, always getting away at the last minute before he is captured. He would often use disguises and brainwashing to operate in normal society, while setting up his plans and also tried to use othe r alien races and powers as his means to conquest.
This portrayal of the Master was as a suave, charming and somewhat sociopathic individual, able to be polite and murderous at almost the same time.
In his next appearance, in 'The Deadly Assassin', the Master appears as an emaciated, decaying wreck, at the end of his thirteenth and final life and, given the severity of his situation, this Master is much darker.
In 'The Keeper of Traken', the Master succeeds in renewing himself by taking over the body of Tremas (an anagram o f 'Master') Now with a body , the Master appeared on and off , still seeking to extend his life — preferably with a new set of regenerations.
The next we hear from the Master, he has been sentenced by the Time Lords to be executed by the Daleks as a punishment for his 'evil crimes'. The Doctor was taking his remaines back to Gallifrey when The Master, who had survived, takes on the form of a small, snake-like entity. This entity escapes and slithers inside the Doctor's TARDIS console, forcing the vessel to crash land.
This serpent form possesses the body of Bruce. However, Bruce's body is also unsustainable and begins to slowly degenerate. The Master attempts to access the Eye of Harmony within the TARDIS and steal the Doctor's remaining regenerations, but instead his body is sucked into it.
After the Time War, the Doctor was certain that he was the only Time Lord left, as he would have been able to feel the presence of any other survivers. However, this belief was short lived as he was told by the Face of Boe that he 'was not alone.'
In 'The Sound of Drums', it is revealed that the Time Lords resurrected the Master to serve as a front line soldier in the Time War. However, after the Dalek Emperor took control of The Cruciform, he fled the war in fear. He disguised himself as a human via the TARDIS' Chameleon Arch, which stores his Time Lord nature and memories in a fob watch, allowing him to become biologically human.
With this new form, he hid at the end of the universe as benevolent scientist, Professor Yana. The Doctor meets this human incarnation in 'Utopia' and Martha inadvertently causes Ya na to open the watch and becomes the Master again.
YANA turns out to be an acronym for the Face of Boes final words: You Are Not Alone.
The newly discovered Time Lord is mortally wounded during a struggle, regenerates, then steals the Doctor's TARDIS and escapes.
At the last second, the Doctor configures the TARDIS using his sonic screwdriver so that the Master is only able to travel between present-day Earth and the year 100 Trillion.
Following his escape from the end of the universe, The Master he arrives in the UK and assumes the identity Harold Saxon. By the time the Doctor has caught up with him, he has set up the Archangel Network, which allows him to influence humanity via a telepathic field, and risen to the office of Prime Minister.
In this incarnation, the Master seems more hyperactive and humorous than previous Masters. After becoming Prime Minister, the Master captures the Doctor and ages him so he can not fight back. From this, he rules the Earth for a year and turns whole nations into work-camps and bases for a fleet of war rockets.
Just as he is ready to wage war on the rest of the universe, the Doctor is restored to strength by the efforts of Martha Jones, using the Archangel network. The Doctor intends to keep the Master with him on the TARDIS, but this plan is thwarted when the Master is shot by his wife Lucy Saxon.
The Master then dies after refusing to regenerate, unwilling to be the Doctor's prisoner. Since his death emotionally hurts the Doctor, the Master views this as a victory. The Doctor then cremates him on a pyre. A female hand with long, bright red fingernails, picks up the Master's ring from the ashes, while the soun d of the Master's insane laughter rings in the background.
